Important dates and deadlines

Pay close attention to the dates and deadlines given below!
Failure to meet certain deadlines could result in your ineligibility to compete for scholarships. It can also greatly affect your financial aid award package.

2012-2013 Financial aid dates & deadlines

06/30/2013 Last day to apply for financial aid for the 2012-2013 school year.
09/15/2012 Deadline to submit corrections to your 2012-2013 FAFSA online.

2012-2013 Financial aid dates & deadlines

01/01/2012 2012-2013 FAFSA application becomes available.
03/31/2012 Priority deadline for students applying for financial aid for the Fall 2012-Spring 2013 semesters.
11/01/2012 Priority deadline for students applying for financial aid for the Spring 2013 semester only.
02/15/2013 Priority deadline for students applying for financial aid for the Summer 2013 semester(s) only.
06/30/2013 Last day to apply for financial aid for the 2012-2013 school year.
09/15/2013 Deadline to submit corrections to your 2012-2013 FAFSA online.

NOTE: The Office of Student Financial Assistance will still accept your FAFSA after the priority deadline. However, applications received after this date will be awarded on a funds-available basis.

2012-2013 University scholarship dates and deadlines

09/01/2012 2012-2013 University Scholarship application becomes available online.
12/01/2012 Last day to submit Apply Texas Scholarship application (freshmen only).
Priority deadline to submit 2012-2013 University Scholarship application.
02/15/2012 Last day to submit 2012-2013 University Scholarship application.
